Volunteers needed for the annual Deschutes Brewery Warehouse party!

Deschutes Brewery needs volunteers to help with their annual Halloween-themed warehouse party, and I've got this message to share with the club:

We need volunteers days before and after the party to set up and take down the event and we have 4 and 8 hour shifts over multiple days. You will be compensated with a six pk of beer and 40% off your entire purchase of beers/swag at the tasting room to use later for a 4 hour shift and have an added bonus of a ticket to the event and 2 drink tokens- or a second ticket at 1/2 price- for an 8 hour shift. You can choose to do a combination of two 4 hour shifts to total 8 for the tickets and we can sweeten the deal if you want to do more than 8 hours of volunteer shifts. Also, PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

Shifts:

October 24-27
Thurs: Set up 12-4 and 4-8
Fri: Set up 12-4 and 4-8  Event help: 7pm-11pm  and 11pm-2 (people who sign up for the whole shift for event 7pm-2am will likely be first to go home early!)
Sat: Event help: 7pm-11pm and 11pm-2am (whole shift 7pm-2am will be the first to get to go home early)
Sun: tear down: 9am-1, 1-5pm, 4-9pm

Biggest need times:  We are in need of party volunteers most of all

  • Friday 8p-2a (we will cut early if things slow down – usually by 12:30a)
  • Saturday 7p-2a (we will cut early)

All volunteers are asked to attend an orientation Tuesday, October 22, at the Warehouse from 5:30-7:30 if possible, pizza and beer included.

Contact Ali Burke, events specialist from Deschutes,  with questions or to volunteer:  541-385-8606.  ABurke@deschutesbrewery.com

Event activities will be mostly working the doors and coat check. A few people will be on the floor making sure any spills are cleaned and water is filled.
Please consider helping and invite your friends as well!
Costumes are encouraged while working the event! This year's theme is summer camp- picture one of the films in the 80s/90s about summer camp for costume ideas.
